Miniatures WIP

Okay, so as you know Apocalypse: Earth doesn't have an associated line of miniatures and the studio army is built around Vietnam War US infantry for the Atlantic Alliance and WW2 Russians for the Holy Soviet Army. But 1/72 doesn't cater for all eventualities, so sometimes you have to get a little ingenious!

Started with WW2 Soviet officer:  

Next up is the staff to conduct his psychic powers! I found a wonky spring in my bits box, and coupled with a toothpick - voila!

What next... how about a cape? That'd be pretty wizard - little folded up piece of paper, about 1cm square - done!

Atlantic Alliance Dreadnought Squad Soldier

So this is 1950s power armour - valves and cables and whatnot. 

Started with the standard US Vietnam infantryman, and then add cardboard strips for armour plate:

Legs and shoulders first, then added back mounted powerpack, extra plating and chest plate too:

And these guys are ready for priming and painting! Stay tuned :-)
